Testing, Testing... Is This Thing On?

I'm in the process of figuring out how to transfer the contents of my Typepad music blog to its potential new home here and of course, it's doesn't appear to be a simple matter of hitting "export" and "save" or anything nearly as intuitive as that. I haven't updated that site in slightly over five years anyway. Why bother at all? I like the idea of having an archive of old material that I can revisit when the whim strikes me. 

The current political climate gives us more important issues to focus on, but it's the music that gives us the wherewithal to withstand the endless spewing of cruelty and ineptitude inundating us on a daily basis, so maybe I'll even start writing some new posts.

Or maybe this lonely little test post will become a desert island of text in an ocean of content, never to be spied by human eyes.
